The City of Jacksonville, Florida seeks to implement a drone security monitoring solution in three parks as a pilot project. The goals are to improve security for park visitorsand to reduce property damage in these locations by providing a virtual presence and capturing data that can be used to investigate incidents. Specifications: • · Security solution for three City of Jacksonville park locations (listed below). • · Stationary mounted cameras to monitor activity. • · Cameras use logical rules to deploy observation drones according to preconfigured trigger rules. • · Airborne drones (at least one per park) respond quickly to triggered locations and monitor activity with: o Visual camera sensors o Thermal camera sensors • · Artificial intelligence (AI) is employed to learn normal patterns of activity and alert to abnormal activity. • · Solution generates email alerts upon drone deployment and AI summaries of activity. • · Solution provides remote access for monitoring of live sensor footage. • · Drones must be able to respond to reach a park boundary within eight (8) minutes. • · Solution shall not interfere with visitor enjoyment of park attractions or natural features. • · Solution shall not occupy more than one space in visitor parking areas (prefer no parking space occupied). • · Solution shall aid in enforcement of Jacksonville Ordinance Chapter 28, Part 7, Sec. 28.703 - Rules; enforcement.
