The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering & Contract Administration (DECA) is seeking professional design services for the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection (KDEP) in the development of a Request for Bid (RFB) and construction management services of an environmental investigation project. The project will involve: • Design of monitoring well installations capable of isolating and monitoring specific water-bearing zones as directed by KDEP. • Prepare bid specifications to solicit bids from KY-certified well drillers with sufficient experience/qualifications to install potentially complex well designs. Consult with the KDEP to review bid packages and driller qualifications. • Oversight of the selected well driller during installation and development of well installations. • Collect groundwater samples from the well installations, and other groundwater sources as identified by KDEP, and submit a report of the well installation and analytical results to KDEP. 1) The selected firm will review available agency data, consult with KDEP, and provide input on necessary well locations and construction methods to further develop the CSM.
