The work consists of the renovation to various areas of the exiting three building campus and site focusing on implementation of a STEAM Program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math). The renovations, repairs, and STEAM programming conversion will be limited to the spaces described in the Construction Documents. The objectives of the project are to enhance the quality of education at Collins Academy High School by: • Providing modern and well-equipped classrooms that align with STEAM program standards and help to establish them. • Improve common area corridors of the Fine Arts Building to create an inspiring learning environment. • Optimize comfort and energy efficiency through the upgrade of various HVAC systems. • Enhance elements at the site entry plaza. The new major equipment includes: 1. Replacement Roof Top Units. 2. Replacement and new Exhaust Fans. 3. New Lighting in select classrooms. 4. Various appliances including washer, dryer, ice maker, refrigerators. 5. Various new classrooms sink.
