The PVC membrane damage that occurred on December 19, 2023. The roof edge blocking failed along 70 lineal feet of the eave edge and approx. 4,000 SF of PVC membrane has delaminated exposing the roof insulation and substrate. Contractor shall provide a temporary preventative measure to avoid additional damage and/or substrate failure. The Contractor shall comply with site and OSHA safety regulations while performing work on site. Contractor shall provide Site Safety and Associated Hoisting along with required materials and labor, set up a roof safety perimeter with D-Ring Tie Off Anchors as required for roof edge work, remove damaged wood Nailer and PVC debris from delaminated area – download to dumpster, slice existing PVC membrane as needed and peel back over the roof area (70’x66’), supply and install up to 140 LF of new roof edge Nailer ½” and/or 1.5” where damaged, supply and install 1,000 SF of 1.5” x 4’x4’ Base Layer Insulation infill where damaged, secure membrane using screws and plates and/or bonding, install PVC patch 10’x70’ of PVC membrane at eave edge and secure to wood blocking, install PVC target patch or batten bar along parapet wall where delaminated as needed, secure existing PVC with screws & plates or batten bar and strip in with 6” flashing, to tie-in with existing PVC to assure positive drainage to the roof edge, supply and install 70 LF of 3” drip edge metal at damaged area and tie in with existing, inspect roof area and patch holes or slices remaining in this roof area, remove and dispose of roofing related trash and debris from our scope of work, work to be during Normal working hours (M-F 7am-3pm). Contractor shall send schedule to POC 2 weeks prior to repair.
