A. Scope of demolition and removal work is shown on drawings and specified in Section 02 4100. B. Scope of alterations work is indicated on drawings. C. Replace three (3) existing multizone air handlers with new modular central station VAV air handlers. D. Route new medium pressure ductwork from new air handlers to new digital VAV terminal boxes and electric control valves. Extend new low pressure ductwork from each terminal box and connect to existing low pressure air distribution. E. Removal and Replacement of existing ceilings to support the removal and replacement of the HVAC ductwork and equipment. F. Provide new DDC controls to support new equipment. G. The project shall be sequenced such that the building has limited disruption of air conditioning. H. Perform electrical work in support of demolition of existing HVAC and installation of new HVAC systems. I. The building shall be OCCUPIED by the Owner during the construction. J. Project lay-down area will be limited, and will be coordinated with CSU. Provide fencing and protect trees. Restore lay-down area upon completion of project. K. Protect site and existing paving in the lay down area and along the route of material and personnel access to the building using rubber mats supplied by CSU. L. Protect existing floors, finishes and building during the HVAC upgrades. M. Provide new finishes in finished spaces to match existing where specified. N. Make other improvements as noted on the Drawings. O. the Owner intends to continue to occupy adjacent portions of the existing building during the entire construction period. P. Cooperate with the Owner to minimize conflict and to facilitate the Owner's operations. Q. Schedule the Work to accommodate the Owner occupancy.
