Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The Department of Administration, State Procurement Bureau, is considering a request from the DNRC Air Operations, to award a Sole Source contract to Astronics PECO, Inc for five Max-Vis 1400 EVS, for Bell 205A ++ fleet. The determination of this Sole Source purchase is based on the following requirements: New infrared enhanced vision system that will interface with a Garmin G500H PFD that has a lightweight (less than 2lbs), nose mounted, fixed forward longwave IR sensor, with a 640 x480 pixel resolution or greater. A horizontal field of view of at least 25 degrees and 75 degrees of down viewing angle while in flight and the ability for thermal imagery sharing via wireless connectivity with the crew devices within the aircraft.
