A. Contractor shall supply Internet Services as specified in this RFB. 1. High Bandwidth Managed Internet Services: Contractor shall provide 10gb ethernet handoff to AACPS equipment at two locations as follows: a. Board of Education (Central Office) 2644 Riva Road Annapolis, Maryland 21401 b. Center of Applied Technology North (Disaster Recovery Site) 800 Stevenson Road Severn, Maryland 21144 The termination location for the proposed Internet feed and interconnection for the Central Office network connection is located at the Central Office equipment room. The termination location for the proposed Internet feed and interconnection for the DR Site is in the Data Center. The Contractor shall be responsible for the labor and material to enter building and terminate in AACPS supplied equipment rack, in AACPS specified location. AACPS will provide AC power for the equipment at the rack. The contractor shall provide any termination equipment necessary to terminate the incoming cabling. AACPS will provide the Ethernet cabling from the provider equipment to our network and Internet termination. Contractor shall allow AACPS to purchase additional bandwidth at the rates specified in the bid response for the duration of the contract. 2. Type of Circuit: AACPS requires an Ethernet handoff. This circuit must be capable of transporting the full bandwidth of the Ethernet service at ten (10) gigabits per second, incrementally scalable, in 1gb increments, from 4 gigabits per second to the maximum capacity requested in this proposal. The user-to-network (UNI) service hand-offs to AACPS shall be provided within the specified locations to AACPS equipment using standards-based, IEEE 802.ae Ten Gigabit Ethernet fiber optic interfaces (10GBASESR). 3. Attack Mitigation: Contractor shall provide DDoS and other attack protection that will stop threats before the edge of the AACPS network coming from outside our network. This will include application layer threat mitigation that will automatically engage within 5 minutes. This protection will be available at both locations and be able to scale to full line rate of the connection(s).
