The Offeror shall provide the following services: A. Assessment The firm will gather input from relevant stakeholders and offer analysis, synthesis, and professional insight to assist in development of: • A needs assessment profile. • The comprehensive executive position description. • Strategies for soliciting a diverse applicant pool, including appropriate nominations, as well as tracking applicants and candidates. • Methods of assessing applicants. • Approaches to ensuring equal opportunity to all candidates and adherence to affirmative action principle. • A thorough review of relevant documents, including but not limited to planning reports, organizational charts, and catalogs. • Conducting comprehensive site visits and meetings with search committees. • Draft position descriptions, advertisements, and institutional profiles to be used during the search process. Advertisements will be placed in locations as agreed upon by NMHU. The university will review and approve all drafts of all materials prior to finalization. B. Assistance in Planning the Executive Search The firm will be required to plan for on-site visits, as needed, throughout the search process and provide frequent and direct contact with the search committee. The firm may be asked to: • Foster an understanding of the executive position among institutional stakeholders and trustees. • Identify potential sources of applicants. • Develop the overall executive search process. • Create a detailed work plan, including timelines and milestones, to ensure the search is completed efficiently. • Prepare, place, and monitor the effectiveness of position announcements...
