The Technology Solutions Department (TS) requests approval to purchase Motorola’s P25 Two-Way Radio & Equipment Repair Services from Mobile Communications America (MCA). The services include assessment, repair, and testing of non-operational equipment. These services are critical to maintaining the equipment the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO), the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department (JFRD), General Government, and all First Coast Radio System (FCRS) radio subscribers utilize. MCA is the only supplier in Duval County authorized to provide repair services on Motorola’s P25 two-way radios and equipment. Having a service provider located in Duval County will help to ensure the fastest turnaround on this critical equipment.
