City of Orange City, Florida is accepting sealed bids from qualified licensed Contractors to provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision and incidentals necessary for the interior restoration of the Orange City Council Chamber and Police Station. This project is time sensitive and should reach substantial completion within 60 calendar days upon issuance of a written Notice to Proceed unless otherwise modified by the City. The City will impose liquidated damages at $250.00 per day until substantial completion is met. In the case of a major disaster, City may be eligible for reimbursement of its disaster-related costs from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) under the Public Assistance program. In order to preserve its eligibility of the Contract costs for FEMA and other Federal funding, it is City’s intent that any subsequent Contract or subcontractors issued by the Contractor are compliant with applicable federal procurement standards at 2 C.F.R. §§ 200.317-327 and other federal programmatic requirements. Pursuant to 2 C.F.R. § 200.327, the Contractor understand that City must include certain provisions in contracts funded in whole or in part with federal financial assistance, as applicable under the relevant regulations and agency guidance and further agree that the requirements will apply to the Contract from the date the Contract was executed by the City.
