Weber State University is seeking software that will create an optimized schedule according to instructor preferences, student demand, and space utilization each semester. This solution should allow instructors to select the courses they desire to teach and rank their preferences of instructional method, days/times, and room type and incorporate this data with enrollment data to produce a schedule desirable to both faculty and students. It should consolidate room usage when possible and assign appropriately sized rooms based on enrollment. The system should offer a user-friendly interface with functionality through a mobile app, Google Calendar integration, or similar on-the-go accessibility. This solution will support multiple campuses with many buildings at each location.
