Replace the existing flooring in Governor’s Office 136C, Reception 136B, and Kitchen 136D • Removal of the wood wall paneling in Governor’s Office 136C and Reception 136B, repair / paint the original plaster walls to restore the original design • Patch / repair any existing original pilasters, or design new pilasters to replicate the original based on historic documentation available • Removal of the non-original ceilings in Governor’s Office 136C and Reception 136B and repair / paint the original ceiling and plaster cornice molding to restore the original design • Restore the interior appearance of the following doors: Pair of doors between Governor’s Office 136C and Arcade 175A Pair of doors between Reception 136B and Arcade 175A • Replace the door between Governor’s Office 136C and Reception 136B with a salvaged historic door and install a new mortise locks. • Refurbish and reinstall salvaged historic chandeliers • Select and install new wall sconces at pilasters to closely match the aesthetic of the historic sconces • Bring the wiring and receptacles up to current code requirements • Design a new HVAC system that allows the original ceiling height to be restored either in its entirety or as much as feasible to provide proper thermal comfort of the occupants in Governor’s Office 136C and Reception 136B
