1. The vendor will have proven ability to provide a full-service move-in for 5000+ students into university owned or managed residence halls and apartments (11 residence halls and up to 7 apartment communities) and provide the following: a. A strategic move-in for a large number of students who arrive in multiple vehicles with an excessive number of personal belongings and furniture b. An ability to unload vehicles in organized and timely manner c. A method of labeling and securing each student’s personal belongings d. A plan for getting each student’s personal belongings to their assigned room safely and securely in an efficient manner 2. The vendor will provide full staffing based on recommendations of the vendor in conjunction with Student Housing. a. All vendor employees will be over the age of 18 b. All vendor employees will be verified with proper documentation c. All employees are required to undergo background checks that must be performed by an approved vendor i. Background checks from previous companies will not be considered valid ii. All background checks must be completed and results provided to the Student Housing before personnel are allowed to work on campus 3. The vendor will provide an implementation and management plan based on the following: a. Recommended number of students (i.e. move-in appointments) the vendor agrees to move in per hour per building b. Recommendations for traffic patterns onto campus and around each hall c. Recommendations for unload zones and staging areas for securing personal belongings d. Number of personnel needed for each residence hall on each day of the event e. Types and quantity of equipment needed as well as the delivery and pickup methods of said equipment f. Ability to operate elevators for maximum efficiency g. A recommended communication plan for pre-arrival as well as during move-in event h. A process for any student’s reported lost, damaged, or stolen personal belongings
