The Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners is requesting competitive bids for repair and maintenance services of both overhead and accordion style garage doors located at Fire Stations, Fire/EMS Support Services Facilities, Fire/EMS Vehicle Maintenance Facilities, and other various buildings/facilities within the County on an as-required basis. In total, there are approximately 65 14-feet tall bay doors spread throughout the County. Anticipated General Scope of Work to be performed by the successful bidder may include, but is not limited to mechanical repair, hinge repair/replacement, roller repair/replacement, replacement of self-tappers, cable repairs/replacement, replacement and reinstallation of bearing plates, replacement of brackets, repair/replacement of rails/pulleys, and any other repair or maintenance required for the County’s garage doors. The Awarded Contractor must provide a lift or device to allow working at the height of 18-20 feet, when necessary. This will be paid in accordance with the specifications outlined in TS-05.
