Demolition of Four (4) Carports (A, B, C and E) a. Set up and prepare work site. Contractor shall provide traffic control and other necessary measures to ensure the safety of any pedestrians and nearby cars and structures. Any damage caused by the contractor is to be restored to its original condition at the contractor’s expense. Contractor shall comply with all OSHA, State and local safety regulations and codes. b. Contractor shall disconnect outdoor carport lighting and carport outlets before any work begins, ensuring all loose wires are properly capped. All conduit and wires shall be removed to the existing junction box. c. Demolish entirety of carport structure and posts. At each post, remove 18” x 18” of asphalt around to 9 ½” below the surface. Saw cut asphalt around posts. All anchors, plates, and miscellaneous metals shall be removed. Neatly restore surface with 6” of aggregate and 3½” asphalt.
