The DOH BPHL has the need to purchase two systems, including software, reagents, and maintenance services for the identification of nucleic acid sequences for the Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonville laboratories. These instruments and reagents will support the outbreak detection activities for viral diseases reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). DOH needs a platform that provides rapid, real-time genomic surveillance, enabling public health officials and epidemiologists to make actionable and timely decisions. It’s critical to perform the testing within twenty-four hours in order to minimize the distress of clients as well as prevent the spread of viruses. Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification.
