The purpose of this RFP is to solicit competitive for providing contract stage labor services for OCCC Cultural Programs on an “as needed” basis as specified and identified as follows: 1. Contractor must have a minimum of ten (10) years in providing theatrical labor services in the State of Oklahoma. 2. Contractor must provide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week support as needed. OCCC will make every effort to schedule work calls no later than one week in advance. 3. When department heads are required, they will be expected to work. If heads are unable to work during any of these calls, additional personnel will be required as a fixed expense. 4. All personnel called for stage labor services must be qualified in their department and prompt for the staring times of all calls. 5. ALL PERSONNEL EMPLOYED ARE EXPECTED TO BRING BASIC TOOLS (i.e., crescent wrench, pliers, screwdrivers, flashlight, hammer). 6. ANY EMPLOYEE ARRICING FOR WORK SHOWING SIGNS OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE WILL BE DISMISSED ON THE SPOT. 7. It is expected that when a stagehand begins working in one department that the stagehand will continue in that department for the duration of the production. 8. Deck stagehands will be required to wear black, including long sleeved black shirts during the performance.
