Engineering services to assess the condition of the Westside Sewer Interceptor. The Consultant shall determine the condition of the force main, the useful life, and the feasibility for the continued operation as well as the need to construct a redundant parallel force main. Task 1 – Project Management Project management will include coordinating all work and adhering to the project schedule, providing routine communications, updates, cost controls, invoices, progress reports, schedule updates, conduct meetings, obtain permits as necessary, and perform quality control. Task 2 – Failure Risk Model The Consultant will assess available data of the Westside Sewer Interceptor and determine the level of inspection. The Consultant will develop a failure risk model to evaluate risk by correlating critical or missing data together. Task 3 – Recommendation Memo The Consultant will develop a recommendation memo to outline the type of assessment tools/technologies, estimated costs, and implementation methodologies. Memo will be developed utilizing the National Association of Sewer Service Companies’ (NASSCO) pipe program.
