The Contractor is responsible for final inventorying, lab packing, waste profiling, loose packing, manifesting, transportation, and disposal or reuse of materials designated by the County at an appropriately permitted facility. The Contractor will be responsible for correctly categorizing and loose packing/lab packing all other wastes including, but not limited to: corrosives, toxics, flammable solids, oxidizers, organic peroxides, some reactives, isocyanates, and amines. The Contractor is also responsible for the following: A. The Contractor shall make routine pick-up of material within seven (7) working days of a notification of service need or during the week immediately following a Saturday collection event. Generally, at a minimum, routine pickups occur twice each month and will take place on Tuesdays or Fridays during the operating hours of the HHW facility. In the event of an unusual circumstance or emergency at the Johnson County HHW facility, the Contractor must be available within 24 hours for pickup of material. In an extreme emergency, the Contractor may be required to pick up material over a weekend or holiday. An invoice shall be provided within 60 days of pickup.
