Contractors should have the ability to provide generators ranging from 51 kw to 2250 kw and transformers ranging from 500KVA to 2500KVA. DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION: Delivery is expected within twenty-four (24) hours, unless otherwise required. Normal Business hours for these services are 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday through Friday). All deliveries of rental generators shall take place during normal business hours unless specifically requested otherwise by the City Representative. After hours and weekend deliveries and Installation/Start-Up services shall be billed at the after-hours rate. Contractor shall be responsible for delivery, setup of all equipment, cables, transformers, etc. at no additional charge to the City. All Products provided under this Contract that require assembly, and installation should be performed by the Contractor’s certified installers. All installation work must meet the manufacturer’s specifications and industry standards. Contractor is responsible for delivering the emergency generator either with a full fuel tank (if safe and legal to do so) or must fill the tank within two (2) hours of installation. The City shall only pay for the refueling of generators and not for the initial filling of the tank. At the time the City takes possession of the equipment, the Contractor shall provide information regarding current condition and any visible, pre-existing damage to the equipment. The City and Contractor will review the equipment condition at the time of delivery as well as at the time of return. No rental fees shall be charged to the City without a signed receipt of acceptance.
