The contractor shall remove the existing urethane seal coat from the floor using an abrasive technique. Floor shall be free of urethane seal coat and the existing epoxy middle layer of the three component flooring system and shall be made ready for application of a primer coat,new epoxy coat and a final urethane finish coat. Repairs/ patching of the substrate as needed. Cleaning and prepping of the entire area. As well as anything else needed to ensure proper adhesion of the new flooring. The Contractor is required to install a new flooring system/material that is highly resistant to chemical, biologics and withstand extremely high traffic. The installed flooring system/materials provided by Contractor and installed must create an appropriate flooring that will last. Please refer to the attached spec sheet for the preferred flooring material. All potential contractors note that the preferred top coating is the RESUFLORTM 3741 SOLVENT / ACID RESISTANT COATING.
