The district is seeking competitive bids and designs from vendors to install new camera and video surveillance systems at the Early Childhood Center, Annex, Athena Elementary, Vineland Elementary, and Central Office. The current camera system at our secondary campus is a Verkada system and the district would prefer to continue utilizing that platform throughout all campuses. The district is requesting vendors to design a brand new system. Systems will be evaluated based upon the total number of indoor and outdoor cameras and overall coverage of the system design by the vendor, overall quality, latest technology inclusions in the bids for camera surveillance equipment, ability to easily track individuals throughout the building from camera to camera, overall functionality of the system, as well as whether or not the system includes ongoing costs in order to function at optimal capacity. The district requests yellow ethernet cable to be used for this project.
