The selected firm will provide complete architectural and engineering services for the design and construction administration of the new South Piedmont Regional Autopsy Center as described in the Project Background and Description. The Architect/Engineer shall provide traditional basic architectural and engineering services including civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and electrical engineering services and other authorized special services. Other special services may include interior design, landscape design, autopsy stations, lab and refrigeration space, biological processing equipment, audio/visual systems, and electronic/physical security systems that are appropriate to the project. The contracted services will include full and complete design services including site evaluation and planning, building program identification and verification, special early trade bidding packages, schematic design, design development, construction documents including project specifications and project manual, cost estimating at each design phase, bidding services as needed, construction administration/supervision/quality control, and project close out.
