The following describes the scope of services and performance standards that selected vendors will be expected to meet. • Data-Based Instruction Guidance Overview Specific to ESOL • Guidance to work with content areas for task generation • Sample tasks across writing and speaking domains in each grade level (K-12) • Guidance to align with WIDA’s English Language Proficiency rubrics • Additional guidance on generating formative assessments for listening and reading, and aligning with the proficiency level descriptors Absolute Priority #2: Development of four different digital repositories across WIDAidentified content areas (English Language Arts, math, social studies, and science) (Content Area Teacher Facing) that provides guidance and exemplars Absolute Priority #2 has a two-page limit and 750-word limit. • Lesson template for K-12 lessons by grade level that demonstrate how to embed supports for English Learners for content area teachers • Mapping of sample content area standards aligned with WIDA 2020 standards • Guidance for how to use WIDA proficiency level descriptors paired with student score reports to modify assignments and assessments to match students’ English proficiency (exemplars across elementary, middle, and high schools) • Sample lesson across K-12 for each content area with strategies for scaffolding and additional supports for content area teachers (range across proficiency levels) • Co-teaching exemplar for elementary, middle, and high in each content area to demonstrate effective push-in strategies (Guidance for both content area and ESOL teachers), developed with feedback from stakeholders across grade levels • Co-planning exemplar for elementary, middle, and high in each content area to demonstrate effective reinforcement of content area for pull-out services (ESOL Teacher facing – can be aligned with lessons listed in above bullet) *align with Backwards-Design Tool Absolute Priority #3: Develop and facilitate a Train-the-Trainer Model with New-Hampshire specific content area groups areas (English Language Arts, math, social studies, and science) Absolute Priority #3 has a two-page limit and 750-word limit. • Work with groups identified to get sample lessons in content areas across grade levels • Train content area groups in repository developed for their content area • Whole day training during the summer (One full day conference with breakout rooms for 4 groups) – In-person • Develop a Professional Learning Community (PLC) Guide for each content area to utilize the repositories created and to collaborate with English Learner teachers • Lead virtual meetings in September (4 different virtual meetings across content areas) to introduce PLC Guide and demonstrate how to use it Absolute Priority #4: Develop and facilitate a Train-the-Trainer Model with 3-5 school districts New Hampshire, determined by an application process that prioritizes need, implementation readiness, and ability to meet at predetermined times Absolute Priority #4 has a two-page limit and 750-word limit. • Oversee an application process to determine appropriate school districts • Train grade level and content area groups in repository developed for their content area and/or grade level band • Whole day training during the summer (One full day conference with breakout rooms for each district) – In-person • Develop a PLC Guide for elementary, middle, and high schools on how to utilize the repositories created and to collaborate with English Learner teachers • Lead virtual meetings in September 2025 (4 different virtual meetings across grade levels) to introduce PLC Guide and demonstrate how to use it
