The Iowa Great Lakes Sanitary District (the District) will be publishing a request for statements of qualifications (RFQs) for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services to provide Construction services for replacement of the South Center Core interceptor. The Project will consist of the installation of approximately 14,000 LF of dual 36-inch and 600 LF of 42-inch sewer pipe. Installation methods will be both trench and trenchless construction. The project also consists of street replacement and the construction of 4 sanitary sewer vault structures, and associated service pipe, erosion control, and site restoration. The proposed project extends from Arnolds Park to the head of the wastewater treatment plant in Milford. The District intends to enter into a Guaranteed Maximum Price Contract with the selected CMAR during the preconstruction process.
