The work is comprised of installation of a new diversion structure including a grated inlet with a Waterman headgate, removal of an existing steel pipe culvert in the Waste Ditch channel, and partial demolition of a concrete structure within Willow Park. Installation may be a new precast or cast in place concrete box culvert. Installation of two 16” steel casings for future water lines will be required. Work will include grading and armoring of the upstream and downstream channel. And restoration of the site will include installation of guard rail, removable handrail with concrete curb wall, and asphalt. All work shall be done as shown on Jones and Demille civil design drawings dated 11-22-2024. Work for this project is anticipated to begin mid-January 2025 with a completion date of April 1, 2025. The project management team will be expected to communicate regularly with city staff, including on-site progress meetings.
