This procurement is for the expansion of a regional erosion study (Simon et al., 2020; pro forma contract Attachment 3). The original study utilized soil, geomorphic, and hydrologic data in a bank stability model to quantify system outputs and evaluate best practices. This expansion study aims to expand on the previous study sponsored by the State and utilize the fundamental database generated as part of that work which includes bank geometry, stream flow series, and bankmaterial properties. The primary work will be to obtain more data, electronically and in the field, to increase the resolution of the model into headwater areas. The objective is to provide the State with regional estimates of fine sediment and nutrient loadings from streambanks, and find, to what extent, load reductions that could be achieved through various erosion-control strategies. Technical responses should outline the capabilities of the applicant to provide the following deliverables:
