Plumber Responsible for performing the large, complex plumbing jobs which requires the installation of new gas lines, portable waterlines, vacuum breakers or plumbing fixtures. Assignments may involve new construction or major remodeling projects. Must use methods and practices involved in installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of plumbing and mechanical systems and equipment. A plumbers’ license certificate is required. Provide cost estimates for desired work to be performed. Testing devices and methods used to detect possible defects in plumbing and mechanical equipment. Detect possible defects and faults in plumbing and mechanical systems and recommend or stipulate appropriate remedial measures. Accurately read and comprehend construction plans. Must obtain Construction Permits when necessary Objectively interpret and consistently apply code requirements and related standards in accordance with the law.
