In no particular order, the coordinator will aim to: Enhance the quality of life for Summit County Latinos by improving community awareness of mental health, substance abuse, and prevention issues and increasing access to effective Spanish language prevention programs within the County. Establish a sustainable system of prevention and inclusion for Latino focused on behavioral health. Maintain the support of key stakeholders in relation to the establishment of prevention-focused community coalitions utilizing the Collective Impact Model. Perform outreach to the Latino community in prevention work to bring awareness of prevention science, resources, and services. Bring prevention services to the Latino community in Summit County. Continue to address the two key goals identified by the community and outlined in the Summit County Mental Wellness Strategic Plan. Increase prevention and education around mental health and substance abuse in Summit County. Ensure equity of mental health and substance abuse programs and services for Latino community members
