1) The ODMHSAS is contracting for high quality and dependable psychiatric hospital beds to treat individuals in ODMHSAS custody found to be Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity/Mental Illness (NGRI/MI), as defined by Oklahoma Statutes Title 22. 2) Furnish all necessary resources to provide up to 100 psychiatric treatment beds for the population. Facility or unit shall be dedicated to the NGRI/MI population and shall not be mixed use with other populations. 3) Provide evidence-based care for the NGRI/MI population as trained by ODMHSAS. 4) Participate in all trainings and meetings as required by ODMHSAS. 5) Ensure compliance all applicable hospital licenses and certifications. 6) Provide high levels of security to ensure both the safety of clients and staff, including but not limited to security checks upon entering facility for all individuals, routine and regular security checks on units, locking exit doors, and secure exterior perimeter. 7) In addition to anything listed in relevant statues, all staff providing direct care services shall be trained in client rights, therapeutic deescalation; CPR/First Aid; and HIPPA and Confidentiality. 8) ODMHSAS shall be the only entity assigning NGRI/MI clients to beds purchased under this solicitation. 9) Collaborate with ODMHSAS to implement any specialized educational or therapeutic programs as needs are identified specific to the population. 10) Collaborate with ODMHSAS on treatment updates including, but not limited to, weekly staffing with ODMHSAS or it’s representatives, as scheduled by ODMHSAS. 11) Attend all Internal Review Board meetings to give updates on the status of each client in care. 12) Only at the request of ODMHSAS, communicate with the court or the Forensic Review Board on the status of individuals in care. Vendor shall not provide recommendations or updates directly to the court without prior approval by ODMHSAS. 13) The contractor shall adhere to all ODMHSAS policies and procedures for transitions of care, including but not limited to prior approval from ODMHSAS. 14) Provide a monthly progress report to ODMHSAS for each client served which includes relevant clinical information necessary to support ODMHSAS in its mission.
