Prescription Service, Filled and Delivered or picked-up as called or faxed by Department of Youth Services Personnel. All prescriptions must be ready in four (4) hours after call. Facility will provide faxed in orders when possible. 4 hour “wait time” for orders Supplier must be available after normal working hours and on holidays to fill emergency requisitions. Name and Contact phone number for individuals must be listed for 24-hour emergency service. Prescriptions faxed to pharmacy on weekdays, Monday through Friday, must be delivered by noon the following day. Supplier must be available after normal working hours & on holidays to fill emergency requisitions All medications must be pre-packaged Prescription medication to be packaged in blister packs. Up to three (3) deliveries per week (Same day delivery if called in by 3:00 PM) Prescriptions packaged incorrectly, or not packaged in accordance to prescription directions, must be repackaged and delivered within two hours of being notified of the problem. Supplier will provide scheduled medications, as ordered by a licensed physician, in unit dose packs. Supplier will notify the campus nursing staff of any discrepancies pertaining to prescriptions and will remedy the situation and have the prescriptions available for delivery within one hour. Supplier will provide all medications in the generic form, if commercially available, unless the brand name of the medication is specifically requested. Supplier will notify the campus nursing staff of any new prescriptions that have a cost that exceeds $200.00 Supplier will notify the campus nursing staff immediately if a requested medication is out of stock. The Supplier will act to obtain the medication as soon as possible and will inform the campus medical staff when the medication will be available.
