The work generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following: furnishing and the installation of approximately 6,000 linear feet of eight-inch (8”), of ductile iron class 54 water main replacement with field lok gasket at four (4) local streets of which three (3) are Bergen County Roads: East Saddle River Road, East Glen Avenue, Van Emburgh Avenue and Salem Lane (Village Road) all in the Village and Utility Right-of-Way in Ridgewood. The project also consists of service connections, valves, fire hydrants, site restoration, paving, hydrostatic testing, disinfection & dechlorination, traffic control, pavement restoration and striping and all related appurtenances. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this project as described in the Construction Documents.
