The services provided will include, but are not limited to, the following: A. Planning and Preliminary Design: The City shall provide the consultant with a conceptual design for both the proposed site and the facility layout, as detailed in Addendum A. The consultant will work closely with the steering committee to deepen their understanding of the concept plan and the intended uses within the proposed civic center. Since this facility will serve various governmental entities and potentially private stakeholders, this initial stage of the design process is crucial for ensuring alignment among all facility users. Modifications to the plan are expected during this preliminary phase. B. Site Design and Site Engineering: The consultant shall collaborate with City staff to develop designs and floor plans for the proposed facility that align with the requested layouts and intended uses (see Addendum A). Additionally, the consultant will conduct necessary surveys and geotechnical investigations to document existing site and soil conditions, ensuring comprehensive designs for all project components.
