The project consists of a review of the current organization and the development of a 3-5 year strategic plan for Pitt County Government. The Pitt County Board of Commissioners, Senior Leadership Team, Department Heads, and key personnel will have input in the strategic plan. The final scope of this study will be developed with the selected firm or individual(s). At a minimum, this will include the following: Conduct a needs analysis with key County staff to gain guidance and directives. Meet with Commissioners, County Management, Senior Leadership Team, and Department Heads to determine priorities and issues to be evaluated during the project. Identify means to elicit community input to capture priorities and concerns as related to the long-term vision for the County. Identify, analyze, and make recommendations on critical issues facing the County (Community Needs Assessment). Present final findings to County Management, Senior Leadership Team, and Commissioners.
