Scope Details A. Qualifications: 1. Selected contractor and its employees shall be fully licensed and authorized to work under the current NFPA guidelines and the local governing bodies (AHJ), in each jurisdiction, to provide annual and bi-annual fire system inspections for all County facilities as follows. a. Wet sprinkler systems b. Antifreeze loop systems c. Dry Sprinkler systems d. Backflow devices e. Clean room gas suppression systems f. Kitchen hood systems g. Fire extinguishers h. Dry systems with Nitrogen concentrators 2. Contractor shall provide owner with a hard copy of all yearly inspections reports by building and provide owner report information digitally. This will occur during an annual meeting to discuss the reports and their findings, at that time, proposals will be submitted by the contractor for all deficiencies found during annual inspection cycle. 3. Contractor shall be responsible for reporting backflow, hoods and suppression system test reports to all (AHJ) water department and fire department agencies for which city the facility resides in. 4. Contractor shall be capable and have the ability of supporting all of the County’s fire systems and their associated repairs, such as. a. Provide and execute proposals for all deficiencies generated during regular inspections cycles. 4 b. Removal and replacement of all aspects of fire systems to include but not limited to, backflows, wet and dry sprinkler piping, hood systems, clean room gas suppression systems, pumps, antifreeze loops and extinguishers. c. Provide the Owner with details of upcoming maintenance, life cycle issues, or required testing to create a budget for ongoing sustainability of all fire systems. d. Have emergency on call staff to deal with all afterhours emergencies, as they might arise. e. Scheduling material deliveries, equipment, and personnel is the contractor’s responsibility. f. Contractor is responsible for communication with local (AHJ) fire authority jurisdictions, for all code compliancy and to pull any applicable permits associated with working in County faculties.
