Remove and properly dispose of existing pipe. Install an 8" Sch. 40, 0.375’ thickness steel pipe epoxy coated and lined fabricated steel loop - across canal - up to 45' from flange to flange. Flanges are Class 150 steel pipe flanges. Specification on the epoxy lining is to be Tnemec Pota-Pox Plus Series N140 = (2) coats @ 8 MILS Thickness for Interior and exterior pipe surfaces – Color 15BL Tank White and Tnemec Endura-Shield II Series 1075 = (1) topcoat @ 4 MILS – Color TBD. Price must include excavation, compaction, haul away of spoils, and removal and disposal of thrust blocks, and surface restoration. Fabricated Loop will need to be a 2 piece design to allow for the installation of an 8" flanged Cla-Val pressure relief valve and will need to include (4) fabricated 45° bends with concrete Thrust Blocks per Riverton City Standards, and (2) 2" thread-o-let to allow for the installation of the Waterman Air Vent and gauges. Pipe zone must be filled with sand. Any disturbance of surrounding area, other than the pipe zone needs to be filled with road base, 4” thick, 95% compaction, If concrete (side walk, approach, etc.) removal is required to access fittings, it will need to be replaced.
