Through the issuance of this and future RFPs, interested members of the Qualified Pool may be asked to submit responses that propose to do the following: • Secure financing in the amount necessary to install the proposed Renewable or Clean Energy Generating System(s) and/or Energy Storage System(s). • Design and engineer the proposed Energy Generating System(s) and/or Energy Storage System(s) per all applicable California Building Codes, Minimum Technical and Installation Specifications as required by the State and any other requirement by relevant authorities having jurisdiction. • Construct and install the Energy Generating System(s) and/or Energy Storage System(s) and associated equipment as required following General Installation Requirements as issued by the DGS in the RFP. • Operate and maintain the Energy Generating System(s) and/or Energy Storage System(s) for the entire term of the SLA (15-35 years). • Sell the Energy Generation and/or Energy Storage Service to others, providing a performance guarantee for generation and energy storage.
