All flowers used in constructing with the Wreaths shall be fresh. Thirty-Six (36) American home-grown carnation flowers shall be placed in color rotation of red, white and blue on a 12" (outside diameter) white foam circular rim, having a minimum width of 1 1/2". The flowers shall then be mounted on a 36" standard florist tripod constructed of light metal. All greens used in the construction of the wreaths for background shall be fresh Laurel. All flowers shall be secured to the actual wreath, by the wire pick method in the construction of the Wreaths. The wire pick method means to secure the stem of the flower to a wooden pick. Wreaths shall be biodegradable. Two Hundred Twenty Eight (228) Wreaths of the above description are required.
