The African Descent-Citizens Reparations Commission (ADCRC) needs to engage the African-Descent-Citizens of Illinois through multiple channels and organizations to drive in-person and virtual attendance of the commission’s public hearings, commission website traffic, social media impressions, and survey responses. The ADCRC is authorized by 20 ILCS 405/405-540 and is charged with surveying the State procurement process to make recommendations, hold meetings, provide reports, and discuss and perform actions concerning: Preservation of African American neighborhoods and communities Building and developing vocational centers for People of African Descent-Citizens Ensuring proportional economic representation in all State contracts Creation and enforcement of an Illinois Slavery Era Disclosure Bill The ADCRC seeks professional public relations expertise to leverage community relationships and organizational alignments to engage broadly with the African Descent-Citizen community across the State. The ADCRC requires strategic public relations and communications support services to assist in facilitating community outreach and public engagements.
