It is the intent of this Request for Qualification (RFQ) to obtain from interested and qualified Engineering Consultants licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey to provide engineering services related to Mechanical and HVAC systems within municipally-owned buildings to supplement the Engineering Department in providing assistance to the Engineering Department and Department of Public Works. The services shall involve providing inspections, evaluations, recommendations and oversite of the mechanical facilities within the various buildings owned by the township including, but not limited to, plumbing, air conditioning and heating. If requested, the consultant shall prepare bid documents and specifications for any anticipated improvements or replacement of the systems, including construction oversight. The consultant shall also assist the Engineering Department in retaining qualified professionals to repair or maintain the existing facilities throughout the contract year.
