• USCG Certificate of Inspection for waters between Maalaea Harbor, Maui (MAA) and Kaunakakai Harbor, Molokai (KAU) • Vessel should provide good seakeeping during the crossing and be capable of reliable service in the wind and wave conditions common on the route. • Vessels should comply with US Access Board ADA Passenger Vessel Accessibility Guidelines. • Vessel main engines and gensets should be EPA Tier 2 compliant, Tier 3 preferred where applicable. • Restrooms provided on vessel(s) with holding tanks and black water pump-out capability. • Appropriate for personal baggage • Facilities provide light food and beverages while underway • Ensure safety of passengers, marine life, environment • Provide security measures against transportation of invasive plant and animal species between islands to satisfaction of The Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR). • Vessel(s) must be able to dock at MAA and KAU ferry terminals. • Provide ticketing and reservation services in person and online. • Provide all maintenance required for the provided vessels. • Support all USCG required crew training and inspections.
