This work shall include all material, equipment, supplies, and labor from the City’s Northside and Southside wastewater treatment plants for 2025. The City estimates that 2,000,000 gallons of liquid sludge will be removed from the South Plant. The City currently hauls its own dried sludge to the Winnebago Landfill. The city is seeking a price per ton for emergency sludge hauling by the vendor that is selected to haul liquid sludge. Timeframes for hauling dried sludges will be negotiated during the emergency hauling event with the selected vendor. Liquid sludge from the South Treatment Plant must be transported from the South Plant to the North Plant per the tentative sludge hauling schedule. Changes shall only be permitted with prior written permission from the Wastewater Plant Superintendent or the Utilities Manager.
