Task 1: Project Structure and Work Plan Building on the scope of work presented in their proposal, and incorporating any relevant changes made during contract negotiations, the firm will prepare a detailed work plan and the achievable timeline for the design manual. The work plan will outline the overall approach, as well as specific actions and activities that will occur during the project and how these will result in a successful conclusion to the study. The firm should highlight the roles and responsibilities of both the firm and the City in terms of review cycles, document approvals and decision-making process. Task 2: Existing Standards & Detail Review The selected firm will be expected to review existing standards & details provided for them by the City of Clemson. City staff should be available to discuss known deficiencies and any updates currently known. This task should develop future staff engagement and help identify areas of improvement.
