The City is seeking proposals from qualified Engineering Firms for professional services for the Preparation of Construction Bid Documents, Permitting Approvals, and Construction Management & Inspection for the Howard Avenue Tennis Courts Drainage Improvements project. The proposal shall be broken down into the following two (2) phases: 1. Plans, Specifications and Cost Estimate (PS&E) 2. Construction Management and Inspections PHASE 1: PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND COST ESTIMATE (PS&E) • Perform any and all field work to provide for proper design of all improvements which includes, at a minimum, a topographic survey of the project limits which include all existing features, drainage structures, curbs, sidewalks, fences, signs, trees, etc. All existing underground utilities must be shown on the survey. Type of structure, type of casting, size and types of pipes entering each structure, and inverts on accessible pipes to be recovered by field survey. • A kick‐off meeting will be scheduled with the City and the awarded design consultant to review the project scope and expectations upon award (within one (1) week of project award) Progress meetings will be held for project updates, scheduling, and discussion of issues to be expedited (via Zoom as/if agreed upon). The Consultant is to prepare meeting(s) minutes for distribution one‐week following any meetings or substantive conversations as determined by the City.
