Johnston County Public School (JCPS) is seeking curriculum to support students growth in the following areas: Leadership, Character Building, Resilience, Bully Prevention, Substance Use Prevention. Funding has not yet been secured for this curriculum, but will be requested based on information acquired during the request for proposal process. Johnston County Public Schools (JCPS) requests pricing options for a one-year, three-year, and five-year contract to establish a contract pending available funds. The criteria for this curriculum and related materials include: ● must align to the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) Student Standards: Mindsets & Behaviors for Student Success ● coherent in design for grades K-12 ● include lessons and activities that can be delivered for multiple levels of support (i.e. Tier 1 - whole class instruction, Tier 2 - small group, Tier 3 - individual student support) ● must incorporate various ways for students to interact with concepts to increase learning engagement ● must include messaging that can be used / modified to communicate learned concepts with caretakers for information and continued learning at home ● support teachers to fully implement whole group instruction and school counselors to implement small group instruction materials, understand the skills and learning of their students, and support a range of learners ● identify the instructional model/approach and research-based strategies utilized
