The Contractor shall, at their own expense, furnish all labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, lodging, and perform all work required to construct and complete in a good and workmanlike manner the following: • Hardening/closing up the counter • Framing in and installing four doors to match current City Hall doors. o Doors to be compatible with the City’s current card reader system to allow access. o Doors to be wired for including electric hinge and have installed electromechanical mortise locks from Stanley BEST locking systems. Model number 45HW -7DEU15S. Wiring for lock must be ran to East server room. o Doors to stay open and have the ability to close with a button o Doors to match existing doors in City Hall Approximate Measurements: • Two (2) openings at counter to be closed up and to match existing counter as closely as possible o Counter Opening #1 (next to Permit Center Supervisor Office) 43” outside width (public) 40 ¾” inside width (staff) 42 “ height o Counter Opening #2 o 43 5/8” outside width (public) o 41 ½” inside width (staff) o 42 “ height • Four (4) openings to be framed in with 8 ft by 3 ft doors and all door installations will require raising and rebuilding of headers and framing above openings to accommodate door frames.
