The State of Connecticut (the “State”), Office of the State Comptroller (“Comptroller”), is seeking information for Benefit Providers to administer various pharmacy service areas under the medical benefit for active employees and non-Medicare eligible retirees, and their eligible dependents. Due to collective bargaining contracts, the State must duplicate current plan design arrangements. In addition to providing benefits to State employees and some retirees, the State also covers certain employees in the probate court system, General Assembly members, former legislators, and other groups, as authorized by statute. The State also offers pharmacy benefits through its current PBM to local municipalities under the Connecticut Partnership Plan.
