1. Be responsible for shipping, installation, validation of the new units, removal and disposal of the old units, and any applicable permit requirements and costs. Installation shall include electrical, plumbing, and any other applicable services required to validate the unit. Bidder shall demonstrate unit functions according to the manufacture’s specification, making any corrections required by the State of Hawaii Boiler Inspector, and that the unit meets all other requirements listed in this solicitation prior to the State’s acceptance. 2. Be responsible to verify all measurements, electrical, water, and steam requirements prior to placing a bid 3. Provide preventive maintenance service and warranty for ONE (1) year. This shall cover all parts, quarterly preventive maintenance, and trouble call services for ONE (1) year following acceptance by SLD, 4. Respond on site within FORTY-EIGHT (48) hours after receiving a trouble call during the service and warranty period. 5. Provide technical product specifications and manuals for theunit. 6. Provide TWO (2) hours of onsite training in person on the proper use and maintenance of the units. The training session will be scheduled by the State Laboratories Division in coordination with the Bidder. The Bidder must be available for training within two weeks of the installation completion. 7. Work to be performed during normal work hours 7:45 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday excluding State Holidays.
