Description: Alfa Laval G3-125, S/N: 5026028 Rotating Assembly Repair • Conveyor – o Feed zone area has erosion and will require repair. o 8 Tiles are worn/cracked and require removal and replacement. o Due to bearing failure, the outer diameter on the rear end of the conveyor suffered major damage and will require laser welding and machining back to OEM specifications. Retaining Ring – o Replace, due to bearing failure. • Thrust Ring – o Replace, due to bearing failure. • Spacer – o Replace, due to bearing failure. • Cover – o Replace, due to bearing failure • End Piece Conveyor – o Damaged beyond repair, recommend upgrading to grease retainer retrofit kit for the small end. • Seal Ring – o Replace, due to bearing failure. • Small End (rear) Hub – o Received bearing failure damage, all interior diameters are damaged and will be repaired back to OEM specifications. • Magnet plug cover (2) – o Replace, Standard operating procedures. • Rear hub experienced bearing failure and 8 screws are sheared off flush with the face that secures the end piece. • Both Small end faces have contact damage. • Brass bushing on 1st stage gear assembly sun wheel is cracked
