Option 1: From the end of the stairs, construct a sidewalk, as per the attached sidewalk drawing. The sidewalk is to be 11' wide x 90' long and will have 5 additional steps in them to keep the sidewalk in compliant with a 5% slope. Concrete is to be, at a minimum, 4,000 PSI mix, 6" thick, placed upon 4" thick road base that is 95% compacted. Excavate and dispose of approximately 10" of existing soil, haul in and place road base and compact before pouring the concrete. The sidewalk is to, at most, have a 1" lip from the surrounding grade. Control joints are to ZipStrip joints every 10', and filled with Sikaflex caulk. Option 2: From the end of the stairs, construct a sidewalk, as per the attached sidewalk drawing.
